Outside Food and Beverages:
Outside food and beverages are permitted in the Austin Aquarium concessions area with a booked birthday or event package. Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not permitted anywhere on Austin Aquarium property.
Aquarium Re-Entry:
Guests exiting the Aquarium who plan to return the same business day must have their receipt at the exit for valid re-entry. Transferring receipts between third parties is not permitted and is grounds for ejection without refund.
Smoking and Vaping:
For the comfort and convenience of our animals and guests, smoking and vaping is not permitted within any part of the Aquarium, nor within 100 ft of our facility.
Pets:
Pets are not permitted in the Aquarium, but service animals are always welcome. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Please note that emotional-support therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and may not be brought into the Aquarium. Pets may not be left unattended in the parking lot or your vehicle.
Unattended Minors:
We recommend that minors under 18 be accompanied by an adult. The Aquarium does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
Lost or Stolen Items:
Austin Aquarium is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Items lost can be reported to Guest Services. Follow-up phone calls can be directed to 512-222-5586 or email info@austinaquarium.com.
Guest Behavior:
All Guests are expected to behave in an appropriate, family-friendly manner. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior is strictly prohibited, and will not be tolerated.
Photo/Video Disclosure:
Guests grant permission to high-resolution photos and/or videos taken at the park to be used for advertising purposes without payment or compensation.
Refund Policy:
Austin Aquarium single day tickets, annual passes, tokens, interactive experiences, premium bottles and buckets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement:
By entering Austin Aquarium and participating in any related activities within, all Guests agree to hold harmless and indemnify Austin Aquarium, its owners, operators, employees, and agents from any and all claims. All Guests assume the inherent risks associated with the feeding and touching of live animals and fully accept the risk of bodily injury or harm. These risks could include but are not limited to bumps, bruises, scratches, loss of vision, bodily injury, skin disorders, mental disorders, dismemberment, or death. Please take care of children. Follow all posted rules and instructions provided by staff. Protect eyes, face, and body.
COVID-19 Warning:
Austin Aquarium has taken enhanced health and safety measures – for you, our other Guests, and Team Members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting our facility.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other pathogens or viruses exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to sever illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By visiting Austin Aquarium, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
All encounters are first come first serve and are based off of the animals’ terms and willingness to participate.
