Add-ons (optional)

Requested add-ons are itemized and finalized by staff after the deposit is paid.

Not permitted in the aquariumAlcohol, piñatas, balloons, silly string, table glitter, and confetti are not permitted. Outside cakes, candles, and non-alcoholic food and drinks are welcome.

No charge for members or children 2 and under.

Birthday parties cannot start before 10:30 AM. You may check in 30 minutes before your start time to set up and decorate; guests check in at the start time through Admissions.

The member discount starts after the minimum 10 persons have been met.

Austin Aquarium welcomes a maximum of 160 participants every 1.5 hours. For large parties we may adjust your start time and our event coordinator will contact you to confirm.

A $100 deposit confirms your reservation; the balance is paid on the day of the event. A deposit not paid within 72 hours of the party forfeits the reservation. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your request is accepted. Prices shown do not include tax or card fees.

AUTHORIZATION: paying the deposit authorizes Austin Aquarium, LLC. to charge a one-time $100 birthday party deposit. Card details are collected securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. A reservation is confirmed once the deposit is paid; packages and add-ons are subject to availability and finalized on your invoice.
